INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER
Overview
We are currently seeking an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER who will be responsible for maintaining all of the company software and hardware. Within this position you will be responsible for maintaining all IT systems, including our network, CAD system, ERP system, and telephone system; establishing and maintaining budgets for operating and capital expenses; and training and supporting local users and remote staff.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have:
- Associate’s degree in information technology or equivalent and a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Experience wtih ERP systems.
- Experience in network administration.
- Proficiency in navigating and multitasking in Windows-based environment.
- Strong PC and Network troubleshooting skills with demonstrated ability to resolve basic to advanced hardware, software, and connectivity problems quickly.
- Experience in evaluating and installing upgrades to existing systems and new systems.
- Demonstrated customer relations, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Availability to respond to after-hours issues as necessary.
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault Manufacturing familiarity is desirable.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Expectations
The qualified candidate will be expected to:
- Maintain all IT systems including company network, CAD system, ERP system, and telephone system.
- Establish and maintain budgets for operating and capital expenses.
- Train and support local users and remote staff.
- Represent EMT favorably at all times.
- Work professionally with other personnel.
- Be the primary point of contact for the efficient resolution of employee technical problems and requests.
- Prioritize workload and produce results in a fast-paced environment within a company experiencing dynamic growth.
- Be proficient in hardware and software configuration/support and have an interest in learning new technologies as they emerge.
