MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Overview

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN. Position is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance and repair procedures on machine tools, mechanical equipment, and utility systems. Duties include: performing major and minor repair of all equipment, performing preventative maintenance procedures on machine tools, building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis, inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, greasing bearings, seals, etc., repairing or replacing broken parts, installing electrical wiring and equipment, replacing and/or repairing wiring (including computer cables) as needed, repairing electrical equipment and control circuits, and replacing faulty electrical switches.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • One to five years of industrial electro/mechanical experience.
  • At least one year of machine tool maintenance and repair experience.
  • Associate's degree in electro/mechanical field preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
